iOS update

Ever since I updated my iPhone 7 my music skips, my phone freezes when I multiple apps open, won’t let me answer my calls and when I can make a call I can’t hear them and they can’t hear me. The screen locks not allowing me to hang up! If I back up my phone now it will give me the same crap. Outside of having to factory reset my phone what else can I do?

PS stop forcing ppl to update their phones, give us the option because to be honest they only make it worse.
