brand new iphone 7plus not downloading apps

I just purchased an iphone 7plus. I started downloading apps and at first it was very slow but i got a few loaded. each app was taking longer and longer to download so i stopped trying. I've had the phone 4 days, barely an app on it and now it won't download at all. it's stuck in waiting mode. keeps asking for my password word, i sign in, but then continues in waiting mode. I've tried ALL the suggestions posted. i restarted the phone, cleared the cookies . i re-entered all my apple ID info even deleting the card on file and adding a new one. it's still stuck in waiting mode. has anyone found an actual solution to this?

Hi

Have you got the latest ios 11.1.1

Go to iCloud make sure iCloud back up is on Then backup now over your wifi

Then go to settings down to reset Restore iPhone back to factory settings.

Set back up over your wifi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes to get your apps and data back this will get rid of any bugs.

Later go to i books download ios 11 user guide &iPhone 7 guide both are free.

yes made sure the software was up to date. i finally found the bluetooth icon was on, so i shut it off and it finally let me download one app. not sure if that's a coincidence. or if it was searching bluetooth even though i had wi-fi selected. who knows! no energy to try and download more apps. this is really really bad on apple's part. i never had problems like this on older models

Downloading apps > 150 MB should be done using Wi-Fi.
