Has anyone put their iPhone 8 in the water yet?

I have a desire to throw my iPhone 8 in a tub of water but I am afraid!!! Have anyone done this yet? What has been your outcome?

A water resistant device is not water proof, these terms are not exclusive. Before you do something you regret or ask someone to try this out and void their warranty out of curiosity read this:
