iPhone 8 Plus not ringing - Missing calls and texts

My iPhone 8 Plus does not ring half of the time. I am missing calls and texts. I have watched it not ring, and then watched it ring five minutes later.

My phone is not in do not disturb. It is not on silent. The sound switch on the left is clicked on.

I have the most recent updates, but this has been a problem since I got the phone when it released. When will this be fixed?

Check carefully your Do Not Disturb settings. If only some ring, it might be that all but your VIPs are blocked.

Also check ringer volume.

Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
