hi when i am in a project in LPX and create a new audio track for "mic" it doesn't activate the record mode.
but in the same project on an existing audio track the record mode is fine ...
if a duplicate the existing audio track its fine
at the same time if a create a new guitar track using "JAM" its fine what is going on?
anyone?

You have to enable the checkbox "Prepare new audio tracks for immediate recording". This will automatically select the Record Enable Button in the newly created Track.

How do get the window where you can check PREPARE NEW AUDI TRACKS FOR RECORDING?
My new tracks window looks like this, without that option.
It is a preference setting Preferences ➤ Display ➤ General ➤ Show icons in New Tracks dialog

Strange this option isn't also in the new tracks screen shot window I posted!? don't you think?
It's the equivalent of the Record enable check box on then non-icon New Tracks dialog.
