Question: High Sierra not finding my WIFI HP printer

Since upgrading to High Sierra last night I cannot print to my HP8600 via wifi. The printer is connected to my wifi network and so is the mac. I downloaded the newest driver and even the HP Easy Start program cannot locate the printer. I can print if I connect by cable. I restarted both the mac and printer multiple times.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5), Core i5, 12 GB

At your suggestion I deleted the printer and attempted to reinstall. HP Easy Start cannot find the printer nor can my mac. However, I was able to get the printer working again with a USB cable. FYI, I am having a similar problem with gmail on the mail program but my business mail works fine on the program. I wish I could just go back to the old OS.
