Question: Dropped iPad, need to plug in/restart to ise

Our daughter dropped our iPad on the floor, and we were worried it was completely broken. However, we find that if we plug it in, it reboots and works fine. We can then unplug it and use as normal. But if it goes to sleep, about half the time we need to do the plug-in-and-reboot again, regardless of battery life. The other times it wakes up just fine.

So we can get it to work, just half the time it's a pain to find a cord and plug it in. Any possible fixes?

Not really. From our distance we simply cnnot assess the level of damage that may have been caused ... and there is clearly some damage.

Ideally you should get it into an Apple store for evaluation but Apple do not repair iPads; they supply replacements under certain conditions. Ask while you are in th store.
