Mac got stuck while updating and now a blinking note of interrogation. Help please

MacBook Pro while updating to11.1.1 got stuck at “26 min remaining and I clicked the start button and it went black. Tried to restart and at sound kept command/option/p/r pressed and got the blinking sign....?......Help requested.

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with your Mac. I understand you are seeing the question mark when trying to start it up. Thanks for letting us know you already tried the PRAM (NVRAM) reset with the Command/Option/P/R keys.
