YouTube app showing as playing on lock screen?

On my lock screen and when I drag down to the notification centre, the YouTube app is showing as playing even when the app is shut or uninstalled and when I'm playing music, preventing me from skipping, pausing or doing anything bar change the volume.

However, if I drag up to the control centre, the source of the music is shown and I can skip and pause here.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that the YouTube app appears to be playing in the Notification center even though the app has been uninstalled. I can surely see how this could be confusing. I'm happy to help.

If you haven't already, restart your iPhone. Restarting can resolve many unexpected behaviors.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue persists, reinstall iOS with iTunes. This can resolve possible software issues. When reinstalling iOS, iTunes will completely remove your current software and install a fresh version. While iTunes will try to do this without removing data, it's a good idea to make sure you have a recent backup before trying this step.
