My AppleTV started flashing last night. I tried resetting the device. I can’t even get the menu to pop up. The light just keeps flashing. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you for your time. Peace.

That will happen if an update hasn't been applied properly or something else has caused it it to go into recovery mode, in both cases it is the result of either the network or something within the environment (I.e. Power outage). You would need to restore as stated above.

You need to restore via iTunes
I had this same issue. Exchanged it at the Apple Store for a refurb, but am now experiencing the same issue three weeks later. It's frustrating and disappointing, to say the least.
