I've bought two Magic Mouse 2s in the past year trying to replace my battery-operated one (which works only if you stick paper or cardboard inside the battery compartment, just so

I've bought two Magic Mouse @s in the past year and neither works. They move the cursor but will not click on anything.

I ran out of time to call in about the first one and have called in about the second one TWICE, and BOTH TIMES the techs hung up in the middle of the call. TWICE.

All I want to do is get rid of my battery mouse, which itself only works if there's some paper folded up and stuck in to brace the batteries.

I've tried all the settings, etc., already. In Sierra and High Sierra both.

Any ideas? Thank you.
