I noticed this issue a few weeks ago as I purchased my first CarPlay equipped vehicle: searching for a destination using Siri will yield decent results but French Canadian Siri butchers French street and city names all the time. Montréal (mɔ̃real) become mɔntreal ("Monne-tréal"), for example. This is on a phone set to French (Canada) with Siri also sent to French (Canada).
