Will I be able to run Office 2016 on my MacBook Air? It has 60GB SSD and 2GB of RAM. I know the requirements say 4GB but could I still get by? Thanks!
It is the "minimum". I am considering buying a used Air strictly for word processing, I just don't want to end up getting an unreturnable one and having it be useless because it can't run Office 2016.
Then note the recommended system requirements for Office 2016 and purchasing a MacBook Air that can, at least, meet those. Do not waste your time/money with an Air that can only meet the minimum requirements.
Also, you may want to check the return policy from wherever you get this notebook, just in case, it doesn't work out for you.
Even if it could run, most likely, its performance will be dismal. Also, is the 4 GB requirement the "minimum" or "recommend" standard from Microsoft?
And yes the performance would most likely be not really great haha, but I am not worried about that at the moment.
