firstly GarageBand is cool as! That’s actually a large percentage why I choose apple! But the new guitar effects are weird. I can turn off the delays in them. The effects are kinda locked in... there’s two pedals in the effect but turning them off I still get the delays... doesn’t seem right to me.

it would be a lot easier to offer some advice if you'd tell us which specific effect you're trying to use.
