issues with iphone 8 plus

I recently purchased an iphone 8 plus 256GB ...The second day I noticed not being able to hear after dialing a number ...I had to place the call on speaker I changed the setting and went into sounds and it still did nothing, I restarted and nothing the ios is up to date.. Whats going on????
