preview no printing opacity layers

Printing PDF's with preview it is printing everything. Adobe acrobat prints them 100% perfect. In preview they colors are washed, textures are dull or completely missing. Here are examplesUser uploaded fileUser uploaded file.User uploaded file

Adobe has the luxury of keeping Adobe Acrobat Reader current with the PDF standard, and thus, it will handle PDF v1.5 transparency, and other emerging PDF standards (X-1a, X-3, X4, etc) better than Preview. The latter cannot handle all PDF standard functionality, and that may be what you are encountering — display profiles not withstanding.
