Photo export does not transfer "descriptions"
I'm trying to export photos to a file on my desktop, but I cannot get the descriptions to transfer even tho I have "Title, Keywords and Descriptions" box checked.
MacBook, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)
How are you checking the description?
If you are using "File > Export > Export .. photos" with "Title, Keywords and Descriptions" box checked, the info panel in the Finder should be showing you the description. Try "File > Get Info" in the Finder for the exported file.
I just tested again, and I am seeing the tags when exporting from Photos 3.0 in High Sierra:
