My iPhone6 updated to 11 and suddenly won’t send or receive calls. What’s up?

I had this problem for about an hour & tried lots of "solutions", but what worked for me was turning off "Enable LTE" and then turning it back on. Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Options -> changing the option choosen for "enable LTE"

I was able to make calls from any setting after changing it - it is now back on Enable LTE for both Voice & Data and is making calls.

I restarted the phone three or four times, only leaving it off for a few seconds. No success. Finally, I turned it off and left it off about ten minutes then restarted. This fixed the problem. (On the last restart of the “short time off” tries, I did get a very brief ring tone with incoming calls but the phone immediately dropped the call. Same with attempts at outgoing calls.)
