adding my HP Officejet 4630 printer

I just upgraded to OS High Sierra and now cannot print on my HP Officejet 4630 printer. At first I realized my printer was offline so I turned it back on and reconnected it to my network. I can find the printer on my iPad so I know it is available (I can also print to it from my iPad). I deleted the printer and tried to add it again and I could not find it under Default printers. I can connect to it and print via a hard cable connection between my MacBook Pro and the printer. That is not a satisfactory solution. Prior to the upgrade to my OS, I had no issues printing to that printer and it always showed up as an available printer.
