My IPhone 6 keeps saying searching even after a hard start

How do I get the carrier name up in the left corner instead of searching? I have done a hard start.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.1.1, NETGEAR N300

I see that your iPhone 6 is displaying "Searching" instead of your carrier's information. I'm happy to help.
