Can't Connect with Apple Support Communities

Each time I try to go http://discussions.apple.com/ I get a message saying that I "don't have permissions" to connect to this website. What the ....?

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 10.1.1

I did a hard reset about 2 weeks ago when it appeared that my iPad had completely died. I took it to the Apple Store and it was reset at the Genius Bar and came back to life, with all settings at factory default.


Had to spent some time getting things back to normal again so I'm loathe to take that route again ... unless it's a last resort.

You’re confusing a simple a quick hard reset (holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons) with a more complicated erase and restore OR a Reset of ALL settings in Settings app, under General, Reset, which resets all iOS settings back to factory iOS default settings.
