phone will not allow calls either in or out

I downloaded an update yesterday and things have been screwy since. In the past hour, I cannot receive calls or place calls, though I do receive voice mail.

Press and hold the Power and Home buttons until you see the Apple logo.

Is Airplane Mode off?

Are you able to use LTE?

Try toggling LTE off and on again.

Have tried all of those. Still no calls in or out. Hmmm?..

I went to my carriers website (AT&T) and was able to refresh my network settings and this corrected my issue. I used the troubleshoot service option on my account.
