all calls in or out go straight to "call ended"

Was having the same issue this afternoon as well. Completely shut down my phone, waited for a few minutes, then restarted SEVERAL times. Phone finally reset itself somehow and am able to make and receive calls once again.

There is a nation wide outage with AT&T, if you're not with them then contact your phone carrier.
