Cellular indicator white vs. green battery drain

If the watch is near iphone or wifi, the cellular button/indicator when turned on in control center on watch is white. Is the battery drain on the watch significantly less when cellular indicator is white than when cellular is green with no iphone or wifi nearby? This would help determine if it is more efficient to toggle cellular if the extra battery drain happens only when indicator is green. Otherwise it would be more convenient to just leave cellular on all the time if indicator is mostly white.
