Question: Apple TV 4K Not Changing Countries

I have two 4K Apple TVs and on both I have a Australian, US and UK account. Switching between my accounts has never been an issue until yesterday when on both boxes the iTunes store fails to switch back to the Australian store correctly.


So I'll have my Australian purchases showing but it seems to be stuck on the UK store. So when I try to play something from my Australian account, it tells me that it can't play this video from the UK store and I need to switch stores. I do that but it still gets stuck on the UK store.


I've tried restarting and reseting. I wondered if it was an account issue so tried the same switch on my iPhone but had no issues. Really weird.

Try logging out completely or signing into your third account, then log back in.

I've logged successfully into the US account and then tried to return to the Australian one but then I get the same error. I can see my Oz purchases but the iTunes store has reverted to the UK one. I didn't know I could log out completely.

You can only access the content for the location which you are currently in. That content is only licensed to view viewed in the location originally purchased and you don't have the right to view elsewhere. Doing so would be in violation of the terms of the account and you will not receive help here for such an attempt.
