Can't setup Touch ID words jumbled

The screen went black on my iPhone 7, so I scheduled a repair at the Apple Store. After the screen was replaced under warranty, I attempted to setup the touch ID. I can do the initial part of the setup, but words are jumbled at the top of the screen and it won't allow me to go past the "adjust your grip" portion.

Any ideas?

iPhone 7, iOS 11.1

Hi Rallythis,

did you try to force restart the phone? I hade once something like that and I did that restart with the two buttons and it was fine after

Yes. I shut down and started up, I also held the power and volume down until the Apple logo appeared.
