Question: Not receiving verification code when using FT on my desktop

I am trying to set up my iPad mini so I can use FaceTime and receive calls I clicked on the app for FaceTime on my iPad I wrote in my user ID and password screen popped up saying they needed to verify ...i clicked on verify and it took me to the Apple page to sign in again which I did and it just brought up my account I don't know where to go from here. I am not receving a verification code or a page asking for a code. My apple account info is correct. What am I doing wrong

As far as I know there's no verification code exactly. It just "verifies" at Apple and I've had trouble with that hanging myself in the past. Best thing is to wait a while and try again. May not solve, but bumping your post....
