Apple Music on watchOS 4

Hi-

I am a paying customer of Apple Music and I also just purchased a Series 2 Apple Watch right before the Series 3 came out. I have AT&T and use Apple Music via cellular and Wi-Fi equally. I was quite shocked that when watchOS 4 and 4.1 were released that I am not able to utilize Apple Music with my Apple Watch and AirPods. It’s an extremely poor experience now. I feel like the quality of Apple products and services have stalled and it’s quite frustrating.

It’s been reassuring to see tech journalists notice this as well. (For example, see an article published recently from a publication that argues that expensive phones or devices should have more work put into them before released. Article title: “It's inexcusable for Apple and Google to ship pricey phones with busted software“, link to Mashable article: https://apple.news/AJDxCLuByReS4cx59dglBHQ ). It amazed me that Apple was unable to deliver a higher quality experience especially when the leadership states that music in in your company’s DNA. Actions surrounding Apple Music on Apple Watch aren’t consistent with the leadership statements. OR, it’s a clear message to consumers to expect lower quality services and products.

My question is simply, can we expect any improvements to Apple Music in watchOS 4 for the Series 2 Apple Watch? Apple is currently still selling this online under it’s refurbished products. And folks that I have purchased this for are sorely disappointed with the current music interface on Apple Watch. Not to mention that watchOS 4 only delivered a speakable Siri on the Series 3 devices. It most definitely offered much in the way of buyer’s remorse and I see my friends and family not wear their Apple Watches any more. Or they just don’t update their device. Please improve watchOS 4.
