I am trying to upload 300GB of my photos and videos from mac to iCloud but it seems stuck and no movement in uploading for more than 2 days now. How do I get all my images up to iCloud?

I have a similar situation.... my brother turned on iCloud and the upload from his mac is taking days. He has a slow internet connection through DSL so likely this is the problem. He has about 6500 pics (over maybe 7 years) of varying picture size (recent pics are higher res as newer phones were used). But seems there is no good way to see the progress or know if there is any progress at all.

Are you working with iCloud photo library?

With that large of a photo library, it could easily take a couple of weeks to upload. Usually patience is best because if you interrupt the sync, it starts all over again,
