How do you transfer iTunes money from one Apple ID account to another?

I got a new phone and I had to make a new Apple ID for use on my new phone which also changes iTunes. I had money left over on my old account and I'm wondering if and how I could transfer it to my new account so I don't lose the money.

This would be something iTunes support would handle for you.

Best way to contact them is to report a problem and schedule a callback as wait time for iTunes can be extensive.
