Why is my system using 10 of my 16 gbs which ends of filling my storage? My phone is updated also.
Go to settings, or in iTunes on your computer, and look and see where the memory is being used.

Under all the apps which combined with everything else uses about 5.5 gbs it says ‘system’ with 10.17 gbs. Unlike the apps, there is no arrow for more details.
