recover deleted note

I have notes in both ICloud and gmail. I usually use gmail. I accidentally deleted an important note. In searching Google, it shows a left click in notes brings up "ICloud, email, and recover notes". My Iphone 6 doesn't show "Recover notes". How can I get the recover notes item. It says notes can be recovered up to 30 days I would really rather not restore my IPhone to an update prior to the deletion if I can avoid it. Can you help me?
