If and when Apple announces unlocked iPhone X is for sale.

If you are planning to buy an unlocked iPhone to use in a different country than the one you purchase it in, do not do that. Apple and Authorized Apple Service Centers can generally only service iPhones in the country where they are purchased. And AppleCare is not honored outside the country of purchase.

Because Apple does not sell them at this time.
