No CD drive
I no longer have a cd drive on any apple product. Is there any other way to get an album into iTunes Match (i.e. scan barcode)?
Purchase a USB Superdrive which will play a CD on any Mac.

You need to purchase an external CD drive. There are plenty of inexpensive alternatives to the Apple superdrive.
