I have 2 ipad A1395 both power buttons do not turn off ipads and assistive touch does not turn off ipads ?

The issue is on 2 ipad A1395 models if you hold the power button down you are able to slide it completely off but you cannot just quick and close it, the assistive touch does the exact same thing , this is definitely a software issue as it is on 2 ipads , both ipads worked fine before Apple ios updates to latest operating system
