When I try to move them to another spot on the desktop, they snap back to their original location. In a previous version of OS X, I could drag them around with no problems. Lately, I can't even drag the ones I want to delete into the trash! Please help.
Click on th Desktop to select it. Click on View in the Finder menubar, select Show View Options. Noe click on the Sort By drop down and select None, this will allow you to arrange your files and folders how you wish.
