Cannot update to 10.13.1

Hello,

I have a late 2013 27" iMac and it won't update to 10.13.1

I tried through app store and the computer restarts, shows installation progress bar and when I log back in it shows the update is still there and the OSX version is 10.13

I have also tried to download the update manually from apple website and install the dmg file. It installs and then requires a restart of the machine. After I restart it, same problem. Still shows update available and OSX version is 10.13

Any suggestions? Thank you!

iMac, iOS 10.3

Hi,

From https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/how-fix-mac-that-wont-finish-maco s-update-3624050/

I would recommend:

Install in Safe Mode

Press the power button and hold down the Shift key to start the Mac up in Safe Mode. Open App Store and update your apps while in Safe mode. Reboot.

Here's how to use Safe Mode on a Mac.

Reset the NVRAM

If Safe Mode doesn't work, restart the Mac and hold down Command, Option, P and R. This will reset the NVRAM. Wait until the computer restarts and wait to see if it starts updating.
