I have an issue after editing a photo with the iOS 11 photo editor. After doing some changes, like filter modifying or something else, a safe the modification and my photo goes white. If a turn back to the edit mode, an error message "photo cannot be loaded" appears.

Does the white thumbnail show a cloud? Then Photos is waiting for access to iCloud after editing to sync the changes with iCloud.
Are you using iCloud Photo Library? You may be using it without knowing this, because the iOS 11 upgrade enabled iCloud Photo Library by default, with the option "Optimize Storage" on. With the option "Optimize Storage" on some originals of the photos may have been removed from the device, and your iPhone will need internet access to download the originals from iCloud, when you try to edit your photos.
Check, if iCloud Photo Library has been enabled. If yes, connect your iPhone to a network, so it can download the originals again. Then turn off "Optimize Storage" if you do not want this option.
Are the photos JPEGs taken with the iPhone, or are they in a different image format? Do you have enough free storage on the iPhone? You did already try to restart the iPhone?
Photos does not seem to be able to store the edited versions.

Thank you for reply. I don't use the iCloud or "Optimize Storage" function.
I only want to edit photos with the iOS photo editor.
I meant, have you checked the Settings on your iPhone? iOS 11 turned this on without telling you, even if you do not want to use iCloud Photo Library.
Yes, I did. All off: iCloud Mediathek off, Photostream off. Did I forget something?
Yes, all photos are taken with the iPhone. I have 12GB free.

Is the photo index or something corrupt?
The photos library may be corrupt, yes. can you save your photos to a computer, so you can delete all photos from the iPhone and start over?
