Can't open light blue folder in macOS

Help please...

I have just transferred some folders from a CD and a HDD to my Macbook Pro (High Sierra 10.13.1)

Problem is I can't access or open the folders. They also appear a light blue colour. If I do cmd+i, I can see there are plenty of files and data within the folders.

I have search the community high and low for an answer and it seems many have the same problem but no answers.
