Question:

Question: can I use old airplay device under airplay 2

Can I continue "old" third party airplay devices under airplay 2, even if no firmware update is available for third party device?

I do understand that - if device can be used - the specific airplay 2 possibilities will not be available on the third part device.

Thank you for your reply.

Answer:
Answer:

It's not possible to provide an answer without either trying it yourself, identifying the devices so that others can try it themselves, or contacting the manufacturer to confirm whether or not their devices will continue to work.

If the reason you are reluctant to try it yourself is due to concerns regarding upgrading, read Upgrading macOS without fear.
