All my apps are reallyt laggy....
Was expecting to be blown away with the speed and performance of iPhoneX. But so far i want to pummel it against a wall.
Apps like Instagram are really laggy... Wait forever for typing to catch up. Photo editing apps taking yonks to open images. Apps not being resposive to touch commands.

I second that. Updated to iOS 11.2 this morning and it’s worse. Screen freezes, typing lags, Siri taking 10-20 seconds to open. Not good. And it happens across all apps. Most noticeable in iMessage and Safari but impacts every app. The phone is becoming seriously unusable (I say as I am suddenly able to type this screed).
OK, so I was browsing possible solutions online and I think geekwire suggested closing all apps that you aren't using. I've gotten out of that habit at Apple's suggestion so the apps I frequently use are always available. I did this, then restarted the phone and I haven't had problems since (yesterday). So far so good.
For other's reference, the apps that might be causing the problems that I normally have not had open in the past but are new to me this year when the problems started are:
- Coinbase (yes, I'm just playing around with a fad)
- HQTrivia (again, just trying - I got bored quickly but left it open)
If things are fine with the phone the rest of the week, I'm going to assume its one of those apps.

You should also contact the App developers, they might have some work to do for their apps to be updated for the iPhone X.
If the entire phone is slow, and you upgraded from iOS 10, you should perform a full backup and restore with iTunes.
