iPhone X cellular signal bars

In my car there are 5 cellular signal bars, but now that I have an iPhone X they never go above 4 so there is always one bar empty. Has anyone else noticed this? My other iPhones register 5 bars and in this car I’m only connected via Bluetooth no car play.
