why is my smart phone being stupid
when i type ‘i’ or other short phrases it turns into an A with a question mark in a box and the message won’t send completed. it will put some words out or space the word half way through.

This was identified as a problem with the iOS 11.1 update. Update your iPhone to iOS 11.1.1, which was released to fix the problem.
