Phone buzzes then beeps for no reason?

I just got a new used iPhone, and for some reason it periodically buzzed and then emits eight high pitched beeps, in two sets of four. I don’t have any notifications, and other than the new iOS and a few games I don’t think that I’ve downloaded anything new? Please help?
