Chrome browser wont load after macOS High Sierra install

Need help! The Chrome web browser crashes before it loads completely. I have uninstalled it, and reinstalled. I have disabled several plug ins (using my ID on a different computer) and still not working. I have also reinstalled macOS High Sierra utilities. Any suggestions? I have a macbook pro 13 inch 2017

The folks over at Google really helped with this. 😁 Doing a proper uninstall (that included deleting the profile data in settings) fixed my problem.

Anybody else having macOS High Sierra and Chrome problems, here are the instructions shared with me. May help you.

  1. Do a proper Uninstall by referring to this article touninstall Chrome. And then, install it using thislink.
  2. If that does not work and you are using a antivirus or firewall software, ensure Chrome is trusted or allowed by these programs. You could temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if this resolves the issue.
  3. Sign into your Chrome profile (if you're able to quickly access the Chrome setting you could use the step 2 else you could go ahead with step 3)
  4. Download and run the Malwarebytes to remove unwanted programs affecting Chrome. Reboot your system, and check if it helped.
