Message Photo Quality

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4 IOS 7 to a 6 with IOS 10.

If I recall, the 4\IOS 7 would prompt when sending a message with a photo to choose the size. This appears to now only be a setting under messages for a Low Quality Image (100Kb) all or none of the time as opposed to the 1.5-3Mb standard size.

Am I missing something?

Any changes in IOS 11?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

For messages you only have the option to turn on the Low Quality Image Mode. When you compose an email, once you select Send you will get the option for Small, Medium, Large, or Actual Size.
