Does anyone know how to go back to having web pages and emails open in their original format . Currently they open and then switch to a printed page format that makes opening attachments and other links hard to do and in some cases impossible to do. I am using Sierra OSX. Any help will be appreciated.

It is the “Reader” feature probably.
Click the 3½ lines button in the search bar to get out of the Reader mode.
