Massages showing incorrect time of receiving

Currently I am using Iphone 7,
Whenever I receive message from some of my contacts, messages showing that message has come 1 or 2 minutes ago.
For example: Message from another phone has been sent at 12:10 and I have received it within 10 seconds however my phone is showing that I have received the message at 12:09 or sometimes 12:08 ( 1 or sometimes 2 minutes ago ). Time in both phones are set automatically and both phones have exactly same time.

p.s. time is written just as an example

Please if there is anyone who can fix it, please help me! cuz it's really annoying 👿

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are having an issue with showing the correct time in the Messages app. First, make sure your iPhone is up to date, as the updates contain stability fixes that can resolve issues like yours, as well as important security updates to keep your iPhone safe.

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're still having this issue, please force close the Messages app and restart your device as iOS clears cached data and does other system optimizations when you turn your device off and on.
