iOS 11.1.1 Battery DRAIN

I was pretty excited to see an update to 11, but seriously since this latest update, my phone went from 100% to 40% after sending 5 photos via text using cellular data. I was shocked. I have tried every "fix" out there (disable most location services, disable 99% of the auto refresh apps, lower my background brightness, etc. Nothing is helping. Yes, reboot...did that too. Apple, come on...this is nuts. We spend a fortune for your phones and this is what we get? Not acceptable.

You're not talking to Apple. This is a user forum.

Did you look in Settings>Battery to see what's using the most power?

Did you restore iOS using iTunes, then restore your backup?

Did you restore iOS using iTunes then set it up as a new phone?

If you did all of these things, and it was not fixed by any of them, then make an appointment at the genius bar and have it checked. It may be a hardware problem.

If you did not do all of those things, then you haven't done even basic troubleshooting, much less tried "every fix" out there...

yes.

Its not a hardware problem. It’s an iOS 11.1.1 problem.

It is slightly better than before I did all that I stated, but still draining too fast since last update.

Oh, and I’m not an imbecile, as your last line of text might infer.

You shouldnt have to do all of that crap when you just got the phone and now its another update and now your battery is draining fast before then my **** phone battery was GREAt mr iphone guru!!

Try giving it to service center they might change ur battery and give even i had the same problem i gt my battery replaced and now its good
