Searching for Service and IOS 11

I woke up this morning and my iPhone 7 was working properly. It was using the IOS 10 software due to me hearing good things about the new update. Well, after about 4 hours, my phone couldn't find any service. The wifi would randomly drop and the phone just said "searching." There were points where it would pick up service and then would drop after around 30 seconds. I got home and decided that maybe it was apple punishing me for not updating. I decided to go ahead with the update. I originally tried to do the update on my phone. It kept telling me that there was an internal error and that I am not allowed to update. So, I decided to plug my phone into my laptop and update it that way. It started out great! It was about half-way there and then an error message popped up on my laptop saying that there was an error updating the "Bryce's IPhone." So, I decided to try again. The screen on the phone at this point was all black with a charger and the apple logo, with the apple/support website at the top. So I plugged it back in and tried to do the update again. SAME THING!!! So I decided, "maybe i'll just restore the phone and then do the update after it being restored.." Well, I thought that would work but obviously not. Now, I am stuck with a phone with the black screen with a white apple logo and a loading bar at around 55%. So it wont go away and now I am stuck without a phone. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Apple website isn't too helpful so I thought I would reach out to everyone else.
